Here it is! Our “Tailgate” themed cake for Heartworks charity. The heartbeat of our business is charity… so when we were asked to create a cake that combined football and Heartworks, we said “game on!” Heartworks is a grassroots movement of women committed to replicating and sustaining the palpable kindness witnessed in the wake after September 11, 2001. Inspired by the healing that takes place through receiving and giving, they offer hope to people experiencing acute illness, injury or grief. And after meeting some of the women behind this charity on Friday, we can tell you – they are everything they claim to be! Their stories of service to the community are many — and left us in tears as we heard some of them first hand! So honored that we could be a part of their 2017 Ultimate Tailgate Party.
